Family Conference Stipends

The Heart of Illinois Down Syndrome Association budgets family stipend funds to enable group members to attend overnight conferences of their choice that are directly related to Down syndrome or developmental disability issues. Families may apply for up to $500 per person, with a maximum of $1000 per family each year. Stipends may be used to pay for conference registration, child care, respite care, hotel, transportation, and other expenses directly related to attending the conference.
